Help
Make your first app
You describe the app in your own words. Mekkapp says what it understood and asks what it cannot guess, then writes the app, and you try it in a phone straight away. Nothing is charged during the alpha.
Describe it
- On your apps page, press Describe a new app.
- Give it a name, and write a few sentences under Your words: in any language, as you would say it to a friend. Use an example fills one in.
- Press Read my words.
Check what it understood
Beside your words, the AI says what it understood: What you asked, each line marked You said, Guessed or Not possible yet; then Who uses it, What it keeps and What happens in it.
Under The AI asks, tap an answer, or skip: the AI guesses sensibly. Then update the plan with your answers.
Something wrong? Write it under Change it in your own words and press Change it.
Create it
Press Create the app. The AI works out the data and the screens, then writes the app part by part. The first part works in about a minute, and you can leave the page: the work goes on.
Try it, and change it
- The app runs in a phone. If it has a sign-in, press a name under Sign in as to see it as that person.
- To change the screen the phone shows, say what should change and press Send. For a change across the app, choose The whole app first.
- Point at a part lets you show the part you mean. Words, by hand changes a screen’s words without the AI.
- Every change is kept under What happened, and Undo puts the one before back.
Take it with you
Download the code gives you the whole app as an Expo project in TypeScript. To install it on a phone, see Build for Android; to keep its data online, see Connect Supabase.
Not possible yet
- Two people changing one app together.
- Building for iPhone from Mekkapp.
